A.R., I think you're just seeing the first page. All the stuff is there, but you have to page to it. Look at the upper right of the cache page, you'll see a pulldown that currently says "Info". If you pull that down, you can select from several pages - "Info", the one you're looking at, "Description" which has the meat of it, "Log" which is for your log info, "Past Logs" which has the past n finds where n is the number you selected in cmconvert, and "Hints" where you can view the hint, decrypted.

If war protesters don't believe in violence what would they do if we punched them in the nose?

Thanks for setting me up with your remailer. It is VERY easy to use.
Question: In the Plucker file I downloaded to my Palm there USED to be the last five logs included. The file I got from you did not load any logs. Is this something I didn't mark correctly in my PQ, or was it stripped out via you remailer? I would like to have these logs, if possible.

It was designed to put the logs in. I get my processed GPX's once a week. Last weeks the logs were in the plucker file. The ones I got today didn't have them. It appears that Jeremy is not only changing the way geocaching.com handles HTML, but also making changes to GPX file. Because I looked and the original GPX has the logs just laid out differently. I will try to look at it in detail this weekend, because I want them as well. But Saturday I am doing some trail work in LRWMA.

Anybody know of a way to transfer infromation to an SD card using your palm and not buying a card reader??

Don't know of a way to do this.
However, don't make the mistake of buying a card READER...make sure it is a reader/WRITER to put data on it.

The version of Palm Desktop that I use has a "QuickInstall" tool ... you can install files directly to the card as well as to internal memory. You can download the upgrade from palm.com. Note -- there are two versions with the same number, a real no-no in software engineering. If in doubt, download the thing even if it looks like the version you're already running, and you'll get the new tool.

Okay, here's my 2 cents/dos centavos/zwei phennigs on this subject......

I use Adobe Acrobat,(print screen) PRINT the files to Adobe Distiller, use Adobe Reader for the Palm to transfer files to the Palm.

I can tranfer a cache page AND a topo map......so far, so good....no real problems, and my pages/maps are easy to read on the m500 (colorless version)

Any question.....email me!

As some of you know, I am one of tw users on these boards that use Macintosh (mudbug being the other). I have struggled for awhile trying to find the right setup to do paperless caching on a Mac. I've now got it! (Thanx to Mudbug for the guidance.)
I had to use my wife's WinBlows laptop when my old Mac died (I fried it with an upgrade card). This thread thoroughly covers the PeeCee side, so I won't go into it, but I used gpx2html with plucker.
Finding native software for a Mac to do this is another matter. I started with OS9 and used 'GPSy' for waypoint transfer and Lil Devils 'Spinner Classic' (web version) to generate web pages for Plucker viewer that I installed from the Win machine to use on a Palm m130.
I just upgraded to Mac OSX (Mac Unix) and found MY perfect solution. I found a free (donations welcome) program called GPS Connect that is OSX native and tranfers waypoints flawlessly. Plucker has come out with a native OSX desktop application and it too works flawlessly. But the real beauty is Allen's remailer program. It sends me a .gpx file to transfer waypoints thru GPS Connect, and a plucker file for the Palm that lets me avoid Spinner. (Thanx Allen - ya oughta charge for the service)
Smooth a silk.

Cool2

I have a PalmPilot with 1M. Mobipocket is way too big. It killed my palm. Is there a viewer for .prc that will run on my old Palm?
