I have MSST 2001, it came free with my computer through the Wotrks Suite Bundle. I have a run disc and a universal set-up disc for the entire works set. I looked under MSST help on how to install a GPS and it gave these directions:
1. Insert set-up disc. 2. Open Windows Explorer. 3. In the Folders Menu rigt-click your disc drive and select "Install GPS". However when I insert my universal setup disc I dont see this any where. Does anyone have any insight as how to add a GPS to MSST given my situation? Found this on the internet.
Short version here: Problem: I tried to use my GST-1©with Microsoft Streets and Trips® and the GPSselections are all grayed out. Solution: Microsoft Streets and Trips®(2001) requires that you do a specific install of the GPSinterface. Insert your Microsoft Streets and Trips®setup disk in the CDROM Drive. If you currently have Streets and Trips running, close the application. Click the "MY COMPUTER" icon on your desk top Select the CDROM drive. Click your mouse on the GPS folder Double click on the Setup.exe icon Kenneth --- He's so skinny, he has to run around in the shower to get wet. |
