Since you were so right about the digital camera I should buy...(which I did by the way), I was wondering if you have a suggestion on camcorders. I really like the Sony DCRHC30, but not sure if thats the best one to get (for the money).

GGA'ers Please chime in if you have any advise (on camcorders that is).

If anyone uses a credit card that gets Sony Points, you might check and see how many points you have accumulated. I totally forgot about this on my credit card. When I went to see how many points I had, I found out I had enough to get a Sony Digital8 camcorder (TRV460). It didn't cost me a thing, free shipping, and I got about a week after I submitted the order.

It's probably not the one I would have purchased if I went to buy one, but hey it was FREE.

I have that SonyCard too and the points accumulate pretty quick (thanks to work purchases!)

Another good place to look on the web is www.tigerdirect.com. They always have closeouts and you can get some amazing deals.
