For all you Linux fans out there, I recently came across this cool program called GpsDrive. It's mapping software that works with GPS's and runs on Linux. There is also an included Perl script (gpsfetchmap.pl) that is very cool. This script will download multiple maps from the Expedia mapserver based on specified coordiates and map scale. Check it out if you're into Linux.
