Haven't reinitialized my GPS is quite a while even though 2 new satellites have gone online. Decided to do it Thursday and was surprised at the change. The whole constellation seemed to rearrange when I did this.
I only showed 1 WAAS sat before and now I see 2.

This might be something that needs to be done more often

When WAAS 48 (garmin's number) went into test mode, my GPS V saw it but wouldn't use it. WHen it went live the GPS V started using it. Since 48 isn't as far west as 35 it is a little higher above the horizon and my GPS can use it more often. A lot of times it shows <10 ft EPE. I didn't have reinitialized the GPS V, it just started using the new satellite.

I've been wondering about that. How would I go about that with a Vista C and a legend?
