e-trex vista repair - Topic Powered by eve community

The rubber on the toggle-switch on my e-trex vista is torn away making it hard to operate, and possible lets moisture in. Garmin wants $ 125US plus s&h for repair. Paying with CAN $ makes this very expensive. Can anybody help?

The whole rubber ring came loose on mine after 2 years & nearly 600 geocaches. Cost me $125 for a refurbish, but 'per cache', it's worth it. Bite the bullet! -JB
