I was doing Broken Bridge cache today and happened to see a bald eagle sitting in a tree. I've never actually seen one in the wild and it took me a minute to convince myself I'd gotten it right.
He finally got tired of me taking pictures and flew off.  |

Beautiful...... I had the privilege of seeing a young one several years ago between Fort Valley and Perry that the fish and game people were not aware of being in the area......apparently the number of fish ponds in the area interested him..... he was just starting to get his collar and white head....I know it must have been a thrill to see this one.....

Way to get such a great photo of one Mertat. I saw my first one this year while looking for a cache in Hiwassee. Way Cool.
