Wow! Those are some great pictures. I can't imagine having the presence of mind to get that owl shot.

Now if I saw that owl coming at me my first instinct would be to get out of the way, not take a picture. But then again Im not a photographer  Happy Hunting!  -Amazingracer It's about who controls the information Marty!

It was taken with a telephoto lens, so it wasn't probably as close as it looks. Still, nerves of steel to wait for the shot. reepicheep

Try spooking a group of about 10 wild turkeys on for size!! They were hiding in some high weeds right next to trail I was walking down years ago. I just happen to let loose with a great big sneeze as I got beside them and it scared them is all I can figure. ALL of them started flapping their wings at the same time trying to take off to get away. Talk about turning the tables!! I nearly messed my drawers it scared me so bad! I didn't know what the heck was coming up around me! It sounded like a helicopter taking off!!  D-man
