Just wanted to share this. Theweathersmen, tag315, buzzman91, and myself spent some time today with Lesley Tanner from Fox 46. Had no clue at teh time that this would air tonight at 6:00. May also be repeated at 11:00.

Geocaching Story

That was a great story about geocaching. I'm always a little worried when I see that geocaching is on the news, but this was a good story that promoted the sport well .

I'm going to find this one today. Should be my last GA cache for awhile.

I just wish they didn't show where this one was hidden. Might get some curious people who steal the container now.

Thanks everyone! I think most of the credit should go to Lesley Tanner with Fox 46 for doing a really nice job within the confines of a 2 minute segment. She really worked hard to make this happen.

Geomuse, that was great! Thanks for taking charge of that contact from the local news and showing everyone a little about caching.

This was a good story - and a neat place to film it. Beldredge, Lakebum, and I visited this site a while back and spent a good hour just looking around. Very cool spot, although I'm glad the video didn't show some of the shadier sides of that site. Agree with AtlantaGal, though, and wish they hadn't shown where the cache was hidden. May not be in the most secure of areas.
