I couldn't resist posting this photo. It popped up on my Webshots wallpaper. As soon as I saw it I thought of some poor geocacher whose GPS batteries went dead deep in the woods. I betcha he was on the hunt for Starhopping or maybe he was testing Starhopping II for somebody (hint, hint).

Cool pic! Too bad it wasn't a GGA cacher as that sure would look good in the calendar!

I wondered where I had left my boots after I took them off to cross that river in one stage of Starhopping.

Didn't have my camera with me yesterday, but I saw two pair of boots tossed into a tree about 15 feet up where the laces were holding it to a branch.

While driving across US-50 through Nevada, stopped at this virtual cache which is at the site of a tree with several hundred pairs of shoes tossed into it. At the time when I passed there, it was the only cache around for 20 miles. As of late it seems to have some company.
