This one was about 3' long. This was about as close as I could and wanted to get to it, lol! We saw it while hiking on the way to Etowah cache today.

You know, even if I was skeered of snakes, I would rather watch them then watch, or film or especially wax Pez's back.

I don't know about you guys. I used to ride fence with a friend in West Texas when I was much younger and we had to repair any areas broken. There were sidewinders and diamond backs there but we had a job to do and just did it. Now I did carry a Ruger 357 magnum in a tied down holster but the fences got fixed with or without reptile help. Take my word for it, they are more afraid of you than you should be of them. Just watch where you walk so you don't step on them. They will definitely scurry off if disturbed.

Snakes are not a really much of a problem. Now, Snake1411's puzzle caches are a different story. They are scary. Nods
