I carefully didn't name Erik's cache since I looked under the covers to figure out which geocache it was near. But here is a picture. It was taken between two geocaches either will be accepted.

I don't what you are talking about, I just said "I like the "Incredible Trees" and Wild Iris." I didn't name any geocache or give any GC number.

I recognized the ridge and the tree - but will give someone else a chance on this one. Besides, last time I posted a picture on this thread it took weeks for someone to identify it.

Okay, since Allen is disavowing any knowledge of this cache shades I'll supply a hint: this turkey of a trail is not in Georgia but is very close by in one of the neighboring states.

If no one gets it soon, I'll go ahead and spill the beans and let someone else post a picture.

I am like Johnnie, I thought it was GCG00T because that is the only area that I have seen something like the picture.

Instead of immediately spilling the beans, why don't you give hints? One way would be on one day you could say its Latitude is between x and y then the next day its Longitude is between a and b. Then cut the Latitude range by about half then Longitude.

For example the Latitude might be between N34 00.000 N34 30.000

CharlieP named it!

Edit: Oops! Forgot to provide the link - Flagpole Mountain. This is in my top 5 favorites and one of my favorite trails - the Pinhoti Trail (thus my hint about "this turkey of a trail"). There are quite a few great caches on the Pinhoti which spans Alabama and Georgia.

Okay, lesson over - next!

That IS a good hike. The rocky terrain along the ridge is similar to some other cache sites on Pine Mountain east of Cartersville, and also this one.

Yep this one is harder, I know what date you took it, but you didn't log any geocaches that day.
