We made a little day trip to Charleston, SC yesterday. The aquarium there is pretty cool. It is set up to match the different geographic regions of the state: mountains, peidmont, coastal plains & beach/ocean. Walking into the different rooms was like walking into that region. In the section for the mountains, there were trees, birds, rocks, waterfalls & playful otters.
There was also a section of exotic creatures. My favorites were the seahorses.

I saw these same SeaDragons at about 2pm today. Charleston has a nice aquarium, and the caching there isn't half bad either. Just watch where you put your hand.

We were in Chattanooga this weekend and almost made a stop at the Tennessee Aquarium, but it got a bit late. My wife made me laugh harder than I've laughed in months when she couldn't think of the word, "Aquarium". We all have those mental blocks, but her way around it was classic. She said, "Do we have time to go to the ... the ... oh, you know, that FISH MUSEUM!"
