I am so glad I don't have a cubicle, cause I know I have some friends that would do this.

That's cute.

We did something like that to a coworker once. He kept pushing to be moved out of his cubicle and upgraded to an office with a door: said he needed the privacy, etc.

While he was out to lunch one day we upgraded his cubicle with a cardboard door and roof. hehe.

That predated widespread use of digital cameras.
Incidentally, he's a vice president of the company now, so our antics didn't deter him. He also has a good sense of humor, which helped.

That is one way to get out of a cubicle, well in most companies.

I once saw an interview with the CEO of Intel. He was in a cubicle, it was a nice large cubicle. He said everyone at Intel were in cubicles.

We didn't take pictures, but back when I worked in the office we pulled a little cubicle prank on a teammate.

When he was out to lunch, we inverted the entire contents of his cubicle. And I do mean *entire* contents - right down to the contents of his file cabinets/overheads, his computer, inboxes, everything. In the case of the file cabinets, not only were the contents inverted, but the cabinets themselves were then turned upside down.

Management helped (and approved), since they were the ones who had to unlock everything. Razz

Took him about four hours to finally get everything back to normal.

I had a private office. Big Grin

But, they got me anyway. I left the sunroof open on my car and found it filled to the brim with little styrofoam peanuts. It took me forever to get all the little buggers shoveled out.

When I sold the car 3 years later there were still peanuts to be found.

Way before digital cameras or the internet or even styrofoam peanuts. A coworker had a classic porsche, when he drove it to work he put a cover over the entire car. Once a group of us noticed that while it was covered the t-top was open. So we filled it with wadded up paper.

Once my boss got to pick between a space that would have been cubicles and a space that had office doors for our department. I told him that if he picked the cubical space, I would make sure I called my gynacologist EVERYDAY for some reason.

Wisely he picked the office space that had doors. Wink
