I came across this coin recently:

I emailed DHobby1 about it and he tells me that is a fairly rare coin he issued in 2000. I'm curious about what the demand is for it as I'm not that much of geocoin collector but I do like barterin' and tradin'.

Oh, the serial number comes back as a Moun10Bike coin, but that's not this one. It's merely the 79th coin out of 100.

WOW!!!

You found that in cache around here? It is a very hard to find coin. Lucky you.

I would love to barter and trade for it....but I do not want to hand over my checking account for it. Big Grin

It is not trackable...just a cool geocoin sig item.

That's a Dhobby Version 1 coin Rebel and a very nice collectors coin as it is the 2nd geocoin siggy item ever made. Moun10bike version 1 was the first.

Where did you find it?

Edit added, I'd love to trade for it, but since you don't collect geocoins, I don't see where anything I'd offer would be of any value. Oh well.

My goodness! Sounds like it's a keeper.

While I don't really collect geocoins, I do collect sig items. I'll be keeping it in that collection.

I found it in a cache in Alabama, not far from Birmingham. I almost didn't snag it but it looked interesting.

Thanks PoS & AG!
