Now there is a reason we drive 5-6 hours once a month to the mountains of Georgia. We just love those trails & waterfalls up there!
But trails in coastal Georgia do hold their own excitement.
While biking near Trail Dog V today we saw.....
a king snake and
a bug on my bike and best of all

a baby gator

Usually when we see a gator, there are tourists around and so we try to act responsibly & not set a bad example in front of the visitors. We don't want them thinking that it is OK to play with our big lizards.
But today we had the trail all to ourselves, so we stopped & took a few pictures.

My geocaching has slowed down, mostly because I now have to drive over an hour to get to any caches.
But for my birthday, my hubby took me on a Dolphin Tour. The dolphins follow the shrimp boats so we just rode along near the shrimp boats and the dolphins were all around. My camera only has a 2X zoom, so he was pretty close.
