Found this car parked in a neighborhood while I was out hunting for "The Cabbagetown Tunnel" a few months ago. Since I don’t look at maps and play “Follow the arrow” I stumbled on it while driving randomly through neighborhoods.
The Car belongs to the O’Dowd travel agency, which I have never heard of before. The looks to be covered in one of those car “wraps”, and the personalized License plate “TVLBUG”. Searched google and found a Website for them www.odowdtravel.com/ Now how do I log spotting this bug? |

Vehicle wraps -- that's part of my job. The VW and the PT Cruiser are the two hardest vehicles to wrap with decals. That looks like a really good job.

I used to see that bug driving around Buckhead. It has a really good wrap job.
How 'bout this for an idea: combine a similarly wrapped vw and the new gps tool described here. The "travel bug" would constantly update it's coords. Now THAT would be a hard cache to find! tjb |

quote: "On a Web site equipped with mapping technology, he can immediately determine the location of her 2002 BMW. " Why does a 16 year old need a new BMW? I had actually thought of getting one of those devices for my Xterra in case it gets stolen. But I would like the ability to disable the ignition as well, which should effectively terminate a joy ride. Unfortunately my insurance company currently does not offer a discount for having it. But a guy in Florida had a device that worked with ham radio that broadcasted the location of his “Silver CRV” and it updated to a cache page. The cache page showed a map and would display the current position of his car. He had a Geocache hidden behind his spare tire. He archived the cache and said he was transferring the cache to a new CRV. I had it on my watch list but when he archived it I removed it. |

A "new" BMW? Come on, the article specifically states it's a 2002 model. I mean, every 16 year old who is anybody has already traded up to the '03 model!
That's a wild cache car down in Florida. I wonder whether an auto thief could claim he was merely rehiding the cache at better coordinates. Definately a bad practice but hardly criminal. tjb |
