Also, the plain bumper sticker is not as resistant to rain as I had hoped, so will have to work on a sealant - but I think I know of one for that very purpose. Cache, responsibly..... |

I could display it from the inside of my vehicle, but I have heavily tinted windows and it wouldn't show up well. But it'd display just fine for folks with non-tinted ones.

There's some spray product made just for sealing printer ink into the bumper sticker stock - just need to find some and try it out. If not, I can consider the laminate.
The bumper stickers don't seem to be too bad, as is - just that some colors are worse than others. Cache, responsibly..... |

AllenLacy's how to make a cache pages mentions some type of selant to see the bumper sticker he applies to the outside of his cache. I do not remember what it was or where Allens cache making page is though.

You could also check with a sign company that does digital printing!
Not sure of the cost effectiveness of them if all you want is a few, but if you want them bad enough... Just going to depend on the equipment and the types of ink that the printer uses. Just so happens, I work for a sign company that does large format digital printing! We also print vehicle graphics and outdoor full color signage. We use a solvent type ink that is "supposed" to last 3-5 years unlaminated. 7+ years laminated. But all of those numbers are pretty much subjective according to how much full sun exposure the print gets, how much care is given, ... My "personal" opinion is that if you get 2 full years out of an unlaminated solvent ink print that is out in the elements and only get minimal fading, then you have got your money's worth. Reds and Oranges are going to be more prone to fading than any other colors, so you might rethink the text color to a shade of green (or blue) to make it more fade resistant.
