I am pretty depressed. It is a shame that the fleet is going to be grounded again.

I am looking forward to the new and improved Shuttles scheduled for 2010. Also it looks like a trip back to the moon.

Yeah, I've heard about that of course. Unfortunately any failure will be exploited by those seeking to kill the program so I had hoped this mission would go off A-OK. I wonder if painting the tank like they did on the first few missions would help stabilize things. Sure it adds weight, but a little extra weight would be better than the potential for disaster.

Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I happened to be in Daytona the first part of the week visitng some friends. We went out onto the beach to watch. Pretty neat.
