It's not the kill......It's the thrill of the hunt.

A year old unfound cache? What's the waypoint? It looks nice, haven't seen fresh snow in years.

Very cool - literally Wink. I was in Alabama at Flagpole Mountain and was a little afraid it might start snowing there but it didn't.

And Cymbaline, I think April 15 is the safety date for last frost in zone 7.

Back on Dec 15, 2002 these pictures were taken

First two were taken on the way and at Whiteside Mountain.

The third at Eric's Reactor Road. It was in the 60's there.

Sitting in my office, I looked across the street through the heat waves at the thermometer on the bank registering 102. Dreading the stroll across the parking lot to my truck and the ensuing drive through Hell in Clayton County to my home, I looked at my desktop where I have CGA Forums shortcut, clicked it on and “Snow” caught my eye. Many thanks Allen, Jobids, and Airmonk for the photos. It certainly lifted my spirits and the scenes of tranquility, peace, and quiet remind me of a time without Iraq, Lebanon, politics, and the other unpleasantness of civilization.
