We had a fairly rough night here last night in Macon. We were with out power for 13 hours and lots of trees down. In fact our street we live on was blocked and we could not get out for several hours. Other than the trees and a few roof shingles nothing else was damaged. No one was hurt and all is well after some clean up today. Thank God for that.

Anyone else have a bad stormy night? Everyone ok?

Some pics from our street:

A couple areas in Columbus were hit hard by an F2 tornado on the 2nd. I was out today and they have done a great job getting those areas cleaned up. The BrookStone subdivision is a mess. The North Lake shopping area is going to be closed for awhile. Luckily no one was seriously injured in any of these areas. As far as I know none of our cachers homes suffered major damage. You can go to the following link for pictures - http://www.hermagazineonline.com/le/slideshows/storm_gallery.html.

I'm glad to hear you all are safe!!!

I think we may be in for a rough spring!

TG I am glad that you guys are all ok and had no major damage to your homes.

I certainly hope this is not a predictor of how spring will be! But might be. Stay safe. See ya on Saturday.

Personally I would take an earthquake over a tornado any day. Laughing
