For those of you that were at the July GGA meeting in Fort Valley. A tornado apparently flattened the Robins Federal Credit Union building on GA 49 in front of where Dope Hill Forest Cache was located. Only about a half mile from my house across the pecan orchards. I didn't hear a thing except for some rain and thunder. I was in my office in 1975 when it was hit by a tornado. Don't care for them being so close.

Glad you're OK thus far. I almost got nailed by the one that hit the Atlanta Speedway recently, I was foolishly on the road at the time and had to stop and find shelter between a couple of office buildings. Not the closest I've ever come but it ranks way up there in the scary range.

I just hope that Clayjar et. al. are OK.

A tornado hit the oulet shops in downtown Helen, also. They won't let you in to see, tho.

I also heard that the same tornado took out a lot of trees in Unicoi state park.
