Merry Christmas, y'all.

We just put out the reindeer food. Hope they don't mind if it's a little....moist! Lots of excitement in the house tonight! Merry Christmas guys.

We just fixed a plate of homemade teacakes and other assorted sweets for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. Santa gets a break this year. We have left him tuna salad sandwiches every year since Sam was 2, until this year. The messy reindeer leave the carrot ends scattered about the driveway every year - but we don't really care since they work so hard.

We just got home from a long-standing Christmas Eve tradition - Chinese Buffet, straight out of Christmas Story...

from Georgia, Louisiana, Virginia and Singapore. My family are all converging in Pigeon Forge, TN for a few days of merriment in a huge rented cabin in the hills. Am leaving in a couple of hours, so if I don't come back - don't come looking for me!
