I was fiddling with my Palm Tungsten T and discovered it could connect to the internet via bluetooth via my laptop. So I set it up and didnt work. So I googled and found a sight that showed step by step how to do it. So I followed that, but got an error message on the Palm. The error message was on the website and it said the solution is to disable any firewall and then find a way to allow the Palm through the Firewall.
So the Palm will connect to the internet when the firewall is off. It only connect to the laptop(no interent) when the firewall is on. I use Norton Personal Firewall. (I can tell it works and does work, because on the connection log the Palm Pilot recieves an IP address when firewall is off, but doesnt get one when it on. And I tried making a rule for that IP range for the Palm but does not work.) So does anyone out there know anything about this, so I can get some light shed on the situation. Thanks in advance.
