I'm sad to report that the GeoRanger evidently found some steroids and has undergone a transformation.

(In the interests of PBS (Phat.Bak Sanity), I'm just providing linkages. Cool )

It went from this to this.

More pics here, if you're so inclined.

Too late. I already backed into a guardrail and dinged the bumper. Red Face Hey, at least I don't have to take a ball-peen hammer to it and put a ding in it just so I wouldn't have to worry about it.. like I did with the Ranger. It hurt when I did it, but I'm over it now. It's a truck - and now it's MY truck. Smile

Thanks for the comments guys and gals!

The cool thing is that I still have visitation rights to the GeoRanger - my sister's boyfriend bought it. Heh..

I didn't realize I had touched on a sensitive subject! I just know if I had a new truck it would get scratched up first thing and then I'd probably cry. . . . Maybe not so much if it was a . . . . Ford!!

I can't say to much about scratching a new truck, when I got the truck I still have, note it was not a new truck but new to me. The first week I had it I put a scratch in the hood of it, don't ask how I put a scratch on the nose of the hood.

Trucks were built for scratches.

Unless it's a Ford, and then it was built to rust. :P

Yep, they are, but was trying to keep it scratch free for at lesat the first month or so.. I made it three days. Oh well, I guess I'll shoot for "no major scratches" for the first year.

Fords? Rust? Sure, after 20-40 years...

My first truck was a Chevy... I learned my lesson, now on my second Ford, happy camper.

Edit: I also ment to say that I gave a really hard look at the Dodge, but configured out it was between $6-8K more than the Ford. As much as I love the Ram, I couldn't justify it.
