Greetings All, I'm trying to find wall mountable, cast iron, bottle openers. You know the kind you use to see in the ole general store. I would like to get a Dr. Pepper bottle opener and an Orange Crush bottle opener, if possible. I've found the Dr. Pepper opener on the web, but I hoping to find one locally (in the Atlanta metro area).
If anyone has run across these type bottle openers in your wanderings, I would appreciate it if you told me which stores you saw them in.
Thanks for your help!

I've been meaning to stop by the store since I saw it advertised. I know it's not local (but it is for me for the time being), but it's got selection! And I would imagine they'd carry some of the bottle openers. Galco's

Brown Mfg. Company has a warehouse in Decatur, GA where they distribute the StarrX cast iron bottle openers. No store front, but you can stop by and purchase openers. They also have a display of bottle opener collectibles. I stopped by the other day and picked up what I needed.

DEFECTIVE!!! Absolutely not. The one I have tells me the exact angle at which I should insert the bottle and the precise amount of pressure to apply to remove the cap.
I wanted to get a low-tech Dr. Pepper version for the beach. I'm attaching it my Ladder Golf (Hillbilly Golf) stand. The Georgia Tech model was overkill.

I was hanging out with my son the other day at our farm and I suggested he get us a couple of beers to which he agreed. He shortly appeared with two Coronas.
“Son, these “furrin” beers don’t have twist offs”
Disdainfully he reached for my beer and popped the top with a Bic lighter all the while giving me that “What a Dumb A..” look. Now, I knew the boy was smart having graduated over at The University with honors and is finishing his graduate work in New York, but I thought that was pretty cool. He said that was the second thing he learned over in Athens, with the first being where he could make an underage purchase.
