I know there are a few NASCAR fans in here. There was a tragedy today resulting in the loss of 10 members aboard the Hendrick motorsports plane that went down with no survivors. Those that wish may send condolences at this web addy: Send Condolences.
Although I didn't 'root' for the Hendrick drivers, all members in the racing community are considered 'family'.

Another corporate aircraft tragedy ... happens to executives, athletes, musicians, and other folks who can afford the convenience of IFR capable small aircraft. Sounds like another case of CFIT (controlled flight into terrain) flying IFR in a mountainous area in fog. Two little girls on board too ... sad story.
