Does any one lnow where i might find freeze dried ham chunks or beef chunks in a packet? I ask because we have had it with eating prepackaged freeze dried meals (we still love them but after some many times and some many days on the trail youll see what we mean) so we were trying some trail recipes but the required the freeze dried meat chunks. Anybody know where to find those?

I've found precooked ground beef at Walmart. It's new on the market, but test meals have been really good. Just take along the extras (veggies, pasta, whatever) and shazam, good hot meal real quick. It comes in a foil pouch (like tuna nowadays) and is pretty handy and easy to pack.
