Some of you know my passion for the Iditarod Dog Race, and a few of us talked about it this past weekend at the Lacy Campout. I have been to the finish line in Nome twice, and would die to go again. This past year, the Discovery Channel went along and is presenting a miniseries starting Oct 14th named 'The Toughest Race on Earth - Iditarod'. It was done by the same guys that do 'The Deadliest Catch'.
Even if you don't watch the show, check out the intro web page. It has some GREAT information. It even pacified SWMBO, who has been to the finish line, and vowed never to go again (thinking that the dogs are mistreated). NOT!

I watch Discovery all the time and know that would be a good show. I am looking forward to the series. Deadliest Catch is a great show. I heard a great live interview with Johnathan Hillstrand while out in Seattle a month ago. You know that these guys will do a great job with this new series too.
