As some of you may know, the Johnstons have been trying to adopt a child for a while. They were blessed on June 9 with a baby girl born in Puyallup, Washington. This Friday, June 24, the waiting period will be over and they will be able to bring her home to Georgia. They have already come up with her caching name: Junebug. Pictures of Junebug

Lets wish them the best on their new journey. Big Grin

Many congratulations to you both. We've been going through the adoption process as well and we hope that we will soon be hearing something from our agency. Glad to hear that Junebug will be coming home soon!

Another Geminian! Congrats. She is adorable.

Geminis are somewhat unique in that they have at least 2 of each birth 'symbol', thus the 'Twins' Astrological symbol.
* 3 birth stones: Pearl; Moonstone; & Alexandrite.
* 2 birth flowers: Rose & Honeysuckle

I'll just repeat what I told Mushtang because it still applies:

Congratulations! But realize your life is forever changed. This isn’t to say the change is bad, just that your life is changed.

However I do hope you have stored up plenty of sleep, because it will be in short supply for the next few years, then again in about 13 years.

Good luck on your new sleep deprivation studies. You'll be able to sleep without anxiety -- when you're dead. Parents just have to worry about their chillin's no matter how old they are or aren't. The love for a little one is special and can't be beat. I know your hearts are overflowing from this blessing.

We're home! I second the request for baby-related items. Our daughter is two weeks old, and we need EVERYTHING!

Actually we are set for the next month or so. Let's have a GGA baby shower...
