I saw a version here and here.

One says Sudbury, Ontario, Canada and the other says Connellsville, PA. So no telling where it really was taken.

The person that sent them to me said they were from a community called Long Lake in Ontario Canada. The original jpgs I got by mail were longlakebear3_2005 and longlakebear5_2005. If that means anything. They have been around for a while.
