On a weird note gas ended its raise at $1.89 and has actually dropped 1 cent over the past three days. This is just at one gas station that normally has the highet price in town and now they are at about the city average. Happy Hunting! -Amazingracer It's about who controls the information Marty!

According to the tank farm concept, I should be able to get cheaper gas here in Bremen due to the proximity of Plantation Pipeline (one of your local Superfund sites, I might add). GAs is $1.95 here as of today. Go figure. I've been thinking about getting an adult tricycle. I don't think my fat a** can do a regular 2 wheeler anymore. Not sure my heart can stand the concept at all! I'm figuring that in the great political wrestling match, GWB will open up the reserves just before the elections so that the price will go down briefly, and we can all thank him with our votes in November. But, then....I could be way too cynical. Discouraging, but when I go to Europe then I feel fortunate. Even our high prices aren't close to what they pay.

(bump) Note that the post before this one states $1.95 a gallon, 5/04. Local QuikTrip down the road has it for $1.88. It's gonna be a loong year. Figured I'd bump this again just for grins.. and to point out a website I occasionally visit: Gas Price Watch. There are several of these types of sites, but this just happens to be the one I look at.

And they keep going up. I filled up yesterday and the gas plus a hotdog, fountain drink, and chips came to over $50. We may have to change the WannaGo events to WannaRideShare events.... Kenneth

Bumping this one up again as I found where someone combined GasBuddy and Google Maps to give you maps of the area and a table with lowest gas prices in the area. Here is the url: CheapGasKenneth

I noticed it was 1.89 at the Kroger here in Macon today. Also noticed that the Enmark on Abercorn in Savannah gas dropped from $2.20 to $2.03 in a little over two weeks and in fact has gone down everyday for the past three or so days. It's tough to shop for cheap gas as they are rising so high. For me to drive to, say...Snellville from Suwanee to save even $.10 /gallon and filling my tank would only save me $2.00. I'd consume 1.5 gallons or cost me $3.64 in getting there actually costs me $1.64 more to do so. This doesn't make 'cents', and it'll only get worst.
Don't say you can't, say you'll try.
