Lucky me!! Flaming Mad
I live in one of the cities that has the highest prices in GA!!

Gas here in Rome hasn't been below $2.83 a gallon in months!
Pretty bad when you look forward to getting out of town so you can save a few cents a gallon on a fill up.
Week before last I ran my car to almost fumes going up to the GGA meeting in Summerville just so I could buy gas cheaper. I found one station on Hwy 114 that had it for $2.68 Roll Eyes

The laws of supply and demand are in my favor!
5 gas stations in a 5 mile rural radus, two of them less than 3 months old = $2.54 per gallon, even a real deal of $2.49 the other day!
There are some fun caches near by, if you want to drive to fill up! Search zip code 30580.

Sorry I missed y'all!
I enjoyed meeting Johnny when he was up to place Stateline AT.
As you said, it is always nice to visit the mountains.

Break out the candles and white sand, time to practice a bit of thread necromancy.

That being said, I could only hope that prices keep falling.. Even with an econoBox, I've been a bit limited in my geocaching abilities.

And I almost got into a wreck crossing 3 lanes to get to the $2.40/gal gas yesterday in Cornelia on the way back from a doctor's appointment. It has since dropped some more. Rumor has it that we will see $2/gal in the next month or so - we'll see.
Ya got any empty 55 gal drums?

Only one. And it's rusty, has a bunch of holes in the bottom, and is currently filled with ash.

$2.49 in Cleveland before I left for the meeting this morning. I knew I would be in Cumming, so I topped off there on the way back home for $2.38. It's a deal for me!

Prices are coming down around here too. Big Grin

At Kroger you can get it for 2.28 if you have the 10 cents off.

But it is still a bit too high for us to justify spending the almost $50 in a tank of gas to drive up to the GGA meeting today.....Frown Frown

Sounds like me missed a good one..... Crying
