The Cotton Pickin' Fair is being held this weekend in Gay. Gay is south of Fayetteville on GA Hwy 85.

There will be cloggers, singers, puppets, vendors, FOOD, and lots to do and see.

I'm going to be there on Saturday at around 10am. Look for me near the fried green tomato booth. Or, channel 22 GMRS.

If you've not been to this fair, you're in for a treat!

If we hadn't already committed to go to the Renaissance Festival this weekend I'd be tempted to go. Too much stuff to do lately!

I remember going to that fair some 25 years ago. It was fun then.

Saturday is British Car Day at Chateau Elan. I'll be there with my lowly Land-Rover among the Rolls, Bentleys, Jaguars, MGs, Triumphs, Morgans, Lotuses (Loti?), Austin~Healeys, Minis, etc. Come by if you're in the neighborhood.

I was a college student at the time with a group of teenage girls from the Atlanta Ballet (I think it was) who put on a show there. (I wasn't a dancer, I just accompanied the group) You weren't one of the dancers were you.

I wanted to give another big hello to Team Griff-N-Go this weekend. Our families ran across each other at the Renn Fest on Saturday.

Now if we can only manage to run across each other while geocaching... I hope the weather this weekend has allowed others to get out and score some caches that have been on the "when the weather is nice" cache lists.
