Oh man, I heard that during lunch today...I heard she tried to buy $1600 worth of merchandise at Wal-mart and presented a $1,000,000 bill for payment. You JUST know it'll be on all the syndicated radio shows tomorrow! We look so smart now. Kinda reminds me of the old joke of the bored counterfeiters who made some $18 bills and headed into the Ozark backwoods to pass them off to the unsuspecting locals. One guy walks in and asks the storekeep if he can change an 18-dollar bill and the proprieter says, "Sure, how do you want it? Three sixes or 2 nines?".
A driver has been arrested for impersonating an officer in Newton County, according to Dale Davis, spokesman for the DeKalb County police. Davis said Ryan Donahue, driving a green Explorer, used blue lights and a siren to pull over a DeKalb County Officer Friday. Both vehicles were traveling west bound on I-20 Newton County. The officer pulled over and when the driver, of the Explorer saw the officer, who was in full uniform, he drove off. The officer followed the driver. The driver of the Explorer was stopped and detained at I-20 at Wesley Chapel Road without further incident. This investigation will be turned over to Newton County Police, Davis said.
