Found some cool GA maps that I would like to share with my fellow carto-freaks.

Here

If anyone would like to post some links to their favorite/interesting maps of GA, that would be great. Looking at maps at work is a good timekiller for me.

A few days ago I found this cache which is a map trading theme cache. It has become quite a repository, now containing maps from all over the US, Canada, and other foreign places.

TinSparrow,

Hope you had just as much luck at those Reno Gaming Tables as finding caches.
Did business or pleasure take you there?

Business still has me out here, but there's always pleasure aspect to travel for me. There some interesting differences in how caches are hidden: in the South East, the traditional hiding places are (1) beside a fallen tree, (2) at the base of a tree, or (3) in a stump hole. With the exception of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Western Nevada, trees are not as plentiful and the list of traditional hiding spots in Nevada is (1) under a rock, or (2) between two rocks. Some of the terrain can be quite challenging, and looking for caches on rocky slopes can be much more difficult than it sounds (just like fallen trees and stumpholes can be difficult).

Alas, it looks like I'll be here through the weekend, which means I'll miss the BBQ and Brunswick Stew. I hope everyone has a fun time.
