I did a Print screen yesterday and went to paste it into Paint and it well was not there. I then went to paste the image into MGI Photosuite and apparently Print Screen crashes it. So I check microsoft.com and cant find anything. I have also noticed that the "Games" (pinball, checkers, etc) are missing. I talk to a freind at Best Buy and they said to reinstall from the XP Disc. So I did that which in turn un-installed Explorer and OE and still no Paint or games. So I reinstall IE and OE and anything else that disappeared a few minutes ago. So now I have all the programs back (IE, OE MP) and i got my accesories folder back with games and the like, BUT paint is still not there.
So my question is, where in the world can I re download Paint, because its the easiest thing to use for PrintScrn. Happy Hunting! -Amazingracer It's about who controls the information Marty! |

Have you done a search on your box for "mspaint.exe" and just missing the shortcut? Or missing the executable and all?
I added a zip of mspaint to: http://home.earthlink.net/~hetheridge/mspaint.zip Hopefully no dll's are required. |

Try this:
Click on Start -> Run and then type in MSPaint and see if it loads. FWIW, on my Windows XP box here in the office it's installed in c:\windows\system32 |
