Lots of "things" to see up there. I used to stay in Chattanooga frequently on business, and there are a lot of neat parks and historical sites in that part of Tennessee and Georgia. But for me, the next 6 weeks is a tough time to try and schedule a trip like that. You also have to get a "compatible" group ... e.g., I don't have much interest in driving that far to do drive-by micro's ... I would want to do the more interesting locations. Others may differ. Maybe the best way to set up something is to get a few folks together with the same general interests, and then lay out the plan and open it up for others to join in ... this has been done before. Do the Tennesse cachers have something like our "Outstanding Cache Awards" of other ways of identifying the really good ones?

There is an unofficial rule in California that anytime a cacher finds 50+ in a day while away from home, he is obliged to pay a "geotax" by placing a cache of his own to thank the locals.
This might be a good practice to start here.

The Middle Tennessee group has put together a greatest hits list, it is not all inclusive, but is certainly a good place to start. You can find it at: http://www.mtgc.org/hits/
As far as geotax goes, I would be happy to place caches in Atlanta, but wouldn't that run afoul of the "Vacation Cache" rule. I did place one at the Tennessee Welcome Center on I-75, I hope that one will count.
I would also like to expand BBB invitation, any of the rest of us would be honored to hook up with our fellow cachers the next time you get to the Nashville area. Once again thank you for placing all of the great caches around Atlanta, we really had a blast hunting them.
Sorry Monkeybrad, didn't mean to leave you out! The Great Nashville folks have alot of Great caches in their area and they are always willing to help out a fellow cacher in need (yes, we know this from experience)!

As far as a Geotax...we are willing to come back to Atlanta to collect ours and if their was some willing cacher out their to watch a cache or two for us we would be more than willing to taunt I mean place a few in y'alls area!

I can bought cheap, like a couple of the Sideshow type containers!

Oh I'm sure there are one or two cachers that would help on both sides of the line - personally I think there are some Who...Who...Who der? caches begging to be placed in Tennessee
Hey Thorney1, Just let me know when you p[lace that cache up here and I will watch it for you. You do know that I will need to be the first to find to watch it right?
