I notice in the groundspeak forums the Missoula geocachers have adopted parts of highways in Mo and thought hey the GGA could do that here. So what if the GGA adopted a section or two of road around GA say one or two up north and one or two down south. It would be great CITO support and we get our name on a sign whcih could bring curiosity to the GGA and geocaching. So what do you think?

I looked into this a year or so ago. The membership at the time was concerned about the committment and the possible location of the highway we would adopt.

I still like the idea, it is something to mull over. It requires a commitment by a lot of folks to be in one area of Georgia on a regular basis. As spread out as we are, the second requirement is a tough one.
