Is there a way that I can 'Ignore' a specific user's entire list of placed nano geocaches without going to each cache page? And since the vast majority are 'Member's Only' (why - I don't know), would the owner be able see that I am ignoring his/her caches?

I can only answer one of the 2 questions... No they can't tell their caches are being ignored.

The ONLY reason a person would make a nano members only is so they can see who watching it. And to be more specific in this case... to see if you are looking at it. Any other reason given is to seem like they are a caring "cache owner" which is a load of hooey.

Nearly all my caches are members only now because Usually, members care a little more about the caches than non-member do when handlimg and replacing the cache. I couldn't tell you who is looking at them and really don't care.

The only way I know to do this is one at a time via the map. Click once on the cache's icon, select "Bookmark It", in the "For List" drop down list select "Ignore List". CO is none the wiser.

I really don't care if the CO sees me ignoring their list or not. He/she already knows what I think of their cache hides. I just didn't want to have to go to every cache page to do it. I had hoped to do it in one fell swoop.

I wish that were true. But sadly... it really isn't. Members are just as bad as non-members. $30 a year doesn't really make a person a more considerate cacher. Boy that would be something wouldn't it...?

:voice booms over bull horn: Annie! please put the nano sized crack pipe down and step away from it. There is someone on the way now with a regular sized crack pipe for that big of a dream!

That is the only way to do it. There is no way at this time to ignore a user. It has been requested over and over in the GC.com Forums but I don't think it is remotely on the list of to-dos honestly.

I am satisfied with the Favorites list feature. Its a great way to zero in on the really good ones. Its a good idea to look at the percentage too - some drive by caches and realtively lame caches have large favorite numbers only because a large number of people do them. But those will have a very low percentage rating.

What would be great would be the ability to limit the "all nearby caches" link to a given radius so that you could then sort by Favorites to get a list of all the good ones within that radius. This can probably be done with a query - but I am usually in a hurry.
