I am the owner of a couple of virtuals and have been hit with a rash of very vague postings and an almost "form email" of answers. I'm just wondering if there is a site out there that may have My answers on it.

I know there was one out there for a while, and people were requesting that their stuff be removed. It is my intention to do the same.

The only website I knew of is no longer running, it was only puzzles and was a hot topic in a GC forum thread.

On Yahoo Answers I have seen some answers to virtuals and puzzles given.

Also I have seen some answers over at one of those ask an expert site, I guess one guy over there is a geocacher and gives out some answers to puzzles. It was told to us that he had answered a question about coords to our puzzle. We emailed him and asked him to stop and he took the answer off that site. But there are answers to other puzzles over there but I did not see any virtuals.

Well now. That's interesting. I found one site that had one of my caches listed.

Slay, please PM me with the URL of the ones you know of so I can check them out too. Pretty please, with sugar on it? [Wink]

Which URL's?

The caches or the puzzle sites?

It is my impression that the sites have closed down. I will ask around for you though.

Be advised that the Germans are actively logging virtual caches if they can find the answer on the internet. I am going to go back and look at finds on my DC caches. I've looked at some and have already deleted one find. What a pitiful practice. Mad

I had one log that they discovered one of my travel bugs over the weekend that had been in a TB graveyard for the last five years. When I e-mailed to ask where they had seen my TB the geocacher said he thinks his little boy must have copied down the TB tag number wrong and actually discovered another TB. Or course I'm still waiting to see if the log will be removed.
