Big Creek Park Temporarily Closed


The Corps of Engineers announced today that Big Creek Park at Lake Sidney Lanier will be closed for approximately three weeks from February 23 through March 12. The park will be closed for roadwork and to construct a new entry to facilitate better traffic flow.

Big Creek Park is one of 48 parks operated by the Corps on Lake Lanier. The park attracts over 150,000 visitors a year and is a popular boat launching area near Holiday Marina and Lake Lanier Islands.
