December 2007 GGA Meeting Notes

As with the Holiday tradition the December GGA meeting had no formal program was a nice time for fellow cachers to socialize and eat of course. We gathered at the Golden Corral in McDonough. In attendance were 64 existing members under 53 geonicks and 12 new members under 11 geonicks. There were cachers filling every last spot in the meeting room and even some that had spilled out into the main dining room.

Everyone was able to eat as much as they pleased with most people visiting the buffet bar for seconds. Uncle Earl was in attendance but only in effigy as is tradition at the GGA Brunch. Uncle Earl is always enjoyed by all at these type food establishments.

Coin folks had a chance to trade and talk shop and even had a chance to see some rare coins straight from the Lily Pad in Seattle. After the meeting most cachers headed out to grab some area caches or to get some holiday shopping done.
