I just wanted to let everyone know that a cache on the Tree Top Trail in Oxbow is now a definite possibility!

I was trying to get in touch with Dana to help me get in contact with Oxbow about the GPSs for the GIS day. She was busy so I decide to just call myself. I spoke with a lady named Amy. I told her who I was and what I needed. She was happy to help. She asked in return for a favor, would some cachers come out one Sunday next year and do a presentation for the public. She wanted us to hide a "bunch" of caches at Oxbow to help draw in cachers. Given the opportunity I said of course and speaking of hiding caches do you think we can talk about hiding a cache on the tree top trail.... she said we certainly can. We are now in Oxbow.

I hope you all are pleased. I made a quick decision based on a lot of you expressing your interest in Oxbow. It won't take but a few cachers to do a presentation. We can talk about it more at our meeting the first of the year. Mary Ellen was the first to get Oxbow interested in geocaching and there have been a couple others interested in Oxbow as well. I will be looking for a liaison to work with Oxbow so think about and let me know if you are interested. I don't mind doing it but if there is someone who really wants to work with Oxbow then that would be very helpful.
