What better way to celebrate the Holidays then with a group of friends and fellow geocachers gathered around sipping hot coco and eating sweets?

This is a get together to relax and have fun! Cheefy will be there to cook up a batch of his awesome hot coco and we’ll be sure to have some marshmallows too. Please bring your favorite holiday treat to share with others. Bring your lawn chair if you would like to sit outside. We will be meeting at Flat Rock Park at Friendship Hall Sunday December 9th from 2 – 4. Bring your sweet tooth!

For those who wish to participate we will be playing the white elephant gift exchange. The game is also known as Yankee Swap, Kris Kringle, Dirty Santa, GiftWar, Grinch Exchange, Rob Your Neighbor, Nasty Christmas and Chinese Gift Exchange.

The rules of the game:

1. Each person playing draws a number.

2. On the first turn, the guest with #1 chooses a gift, opens it, and reveals it to all the other players.

3. On the second turn, the guest with #2 gets the choice of "stealing" #1’s opened gift or choosing a new unopened gift. If #2 steals #1's gift, then #1 must choose and open a new unopened gift.

4. On the third turn, the guest with #3 gets the choice of "stealing" either #1’s or #2’s opened gift, or choosing a unopened gift.

5. This continues until all gifts are opened.

6. You cannot steal from the person who just stole from you.

7. A gift is out of play once it has been stolen 3 times.

It’s a lot fun!!! Please keep the gifts under $10. Try to select something geocaching or hiking related.

We will have a Christmas themed treasure hunt for the kids. Please let me know in your log how many boys and girls will attend with you and their ages.

I wish we could make it, we had a great time last year.

We have a whole day of children's choir performances. All 3 services in the morning and then the big show at 5 and 7 that night. Smile

Have lots of fun.
