Question:
Not to rain on the Rhino's parade, but could we consider expanding this forum to GPS Units & Software?
I know that in conversations with other cachers I have found out or given info about Magellans that could help others in their caching efforts.
I have also heard Garmin users sharing info.

It was nice to have a forum set up just for us Rinocachers, but I think at this point there aren't enough of us to justify such a vertical forum. I check in here every day, but nobody's talking lately. So, I'm with you, Kenneth, let's make it a general hardware/software forum.

I think the Rinos are unique enough to have their own forum which is why I asked for it.

It is easy to set up additional forums as needed for other topics. I believe we have plenty of web space.

I encourage others to request additional forums as needed.

Well that's my 2 cents anyway.

I think there is interest in an area for other GPSrs & Software.
I think we should see if a few others have a preference, but another forum sounds ok if TPTB see it as a good thing.

After some discussion we have opened up a new forum for Technical Discussions. This is a great idea Kenneth. These technical discussions get put in a couple of different areas so it would be nice to consolidate them into one area. The Rino phenomenon may well grow and it would be nice to keep an area open for that group of enthusiast.

It is now up on the boards so have at it. There was not a single no vote above so the SC discussed it and moved to get it going. I hope it will be a big addition to our ever-evolving discussion boards!
