All GGA meetings are open to everyone interested in geocaching in the state of Georgia. Families and visitors are welcome. There is no membership fee or meeting fee, although we may pass the hat to cover expenses.

Here are the GGA meeting dates for the next several months. Please mark your calendars.

As to meeting times, the current plan is to set the meeting time based on daylight saving time. Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. on the first Sunday of April. Time reverts to standard time at 2 a.m. on the last Sunday of October. During those months that daylight saving time is in effect, we will meet from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. During those months that daylight saving time is NOT in effect, we will meet from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This is subject to change.

Our goal is to announce the confirmed site for each of these meetings roughly 30 days in advance of the meeting. All meetings will be posted as Event Caches on www.geocaching.com.
We encourage member's suggestions for possible meeting sites and we also encourage members to volunteer to host a meeting!

April 10 -- Rome (not firm but pretty sure)
May 8 -- Jackson

Also on April 10 we will be manning a GGA Information booth at a festival near Jackson. At that same location on May 1 we'll be holding an Introduction to GPS (GPS 101) class. Volunteers for both occasions are encouraged!
