I went Today and bought enough paper products for 150 people for Our August BBQ Cookout, et: Napkins, Cups, Disposable Gloves, Forks, Spoons, Knives, and Containers (plates/to go), for a great BBQ.

I really need to know how many for the Brunswick Stew part, since this is the most expensive.

Will wait on the RSVP page to be posted before I continue, as I do need to know how many will be there.

I look forward to doing this, I think You All will have a great time, with some Great Food.

PLEASE ADVISE ON THE AUGUST GGA MEETING, geocache page, at www.geocaching.com how many will be attending.

I'll certainly be there, with an appetite. Smile

We'll post the event cache page within the next week, that would probably be the best place for people to log a note, since not all read these forums.

I'll keep my eyes open. I'm going to make a real effort to attend in August.

Hope that helps.

I just looked at the archived August, 2002 event page and there were 45 present for that event.
If that's any indication or not, it's probably in the ballpark for 2003, maybe add 15-25. I guess the RSVP will tell the tale. Excop1313 and I will be doin' the cookin', him; Brunswick Stew and me; pulled pork for samiches. We're looking for volunteers to kick in slaw, chips, drinks, etc.
Help

Thanks!

5 Bags of Chips! Big Sam's Size Bags. As Assorted as Sam's will allow. If I see the rsvp list going higher than 50 I will add accordingly.

It would best for all concerned for me not to cook. Because I just don't...

I was really hoping that I could attend my first GGA meeting in August. If it is on the 9th though, I'm going to have to aim for the September meeting. August 9th is moving day for our new clinic. I look forward to meeting fellow geocachers in this state.

Awww, man! And we thought Slay was going to add the feminine touch to something home-made. Hey, just put the chips in a big bowl and say you were up slicing and frying all night! Laughing

It's practically in my back yard. I think it's pretty safe to say I'll be able to make this one. If I can't attend, I'll just stand on my balcony and toss pebbles at you to keep things interesting.

that I don't cook, not "I can't cook". Roll Eyes Sneaky

By the way put me down for 2 more people and a Dog-A-Potamus. I'll try to talk Goss into coming, but I'm sure she'll use that ol' "I have to work" excuse.

Dog-A-Potamus Stew!??? Nahhhh. Stick with the snakes.
She may not WANT to cook, but I can tell Dog-A-Potamus doesn't miss many homecooked meals. If it is the same situation as my Poncho, the dogs eat better'n I do! Phanatik cooks 3 course meals for Poncho and tells me to fend for myself! Go figure. I guess I know where I stand in the pecking order.
