Re-use Your Zip Lock Bags When I'm geo-caching with the E-Team up in the North Georgia Mountains, It is most of the time a day long Hike, and often over night. In cool weather and some times for cooking we need a fire. The Tip: When lunch around the campsite is done, save the empty plastic and ziplock food bags and fill them with dry tinder, kindling and twigs. It's and easy way to collect and keep some dry fire-starter, in case a storm rolls in and soaks the forest or your wood pile at night. | |||

I've found powering my USB powered hand held GPSr and GPS Nuvi a clumsy sloppy ordeal until I found a power nub and retractable power cable. The cord that came with my GPSr and nuvi is so long and I have to coil, twist and tuck to keep is neat from getting entangled in everything. But with a dual mini USB plug power port and retractable power cord, everything pulls up nice and neat. Dual Port: $12-17 @ amazon.com Single port: less than $1 @ amazon.com Single port: less than $8 @ amazon.com Power Cord: less than $1 @ amazon.com Beats a $35 Garmin cable that's too long. This message has been edited.
