GEOCACHERS TAKE GREAT PHOTOS! This is an invitation to submit photos taken from anywhere in Georgia.

The Georgia State Map is created by the GA Dept. of Transportation Road Data Division in Chamblee, GA. They are soliciting photos to go on the GA state map. They are to be submitted by the owner of the photo. Photos will be sorted into groups and selected by Congressional District representatives. If chosen to go on the state map, the photos will credited with the name of the photographer. The photographer will need to sign a release (if selected). Please indicate what county pics were taken in. They are especially interested in photos taken in Georgia State Parks, and if you have any of these, please label the filename as such.

Submit photos electronically as a *.jpg to:
janiswalker@dot.ga.gov by May 1, 2010.

(If you look on the state maps from the last 4 years, they all have an invitation to submit photos on them).

all types of photos: close-up, detailed pics of things like birds, butterflies. Also scenery shots like the Georgia Canyon. Pics of kids doing things in Georgia, like swimming with fishies underneath pontoon boats at Lake Lanier.
